The Hillcrest Honors was created to uplift and amplify the many people, organizations, businesses and events that make Hillcrest San Diego's most fabulous neighborhood. Held annually, the Hillcrest Honors spotlights those whose talents, energy and presence are part of the fabric of this great neighborhood. Founded by Rick Cervantes and Benny Cartwright in 2022 via the @HillcrestSanDiego Instagram account, the Hillcrest Honors has become one of the most anticipated neighborhood celebrations of the year. We thank you for your contributions to our beloved Hillcrest!

VIP Reception

Monday, Feb. 24, 5-6 p.m. - Uptown Tavern

Honorees and their guest are invited to an exclusive cocktail hour at Uptown Tavern to mingle with other honorees, community leaders and elected officials while enjoying music by DJ Mike Orion, drink specials and hosted appetizers before the main event begins.

Hillcrest Honors Ceremony

Monday, Feb. 24, 6-8 p.m. - Uptown Tavern

Honorees and their guest are invited to the official Hillcrest Honors Ceremony, hosted by Kickxy Vixen-Styles, which will include remarks from elected officials and community leaders, the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award and other top honors, and hosted appetizers at this exclusive kickoff to the night of celebration.

Hillcrest Honors Community Celebration - Flicks

Monday, Feb. 24, 7:30 p.m.

The entire community is invited to Flicks for the Hillcrest Honors Community Celebration, which will include the second half of the awards presentation, the presentation of the "Kickxy's" and music by DJ Autumn Leilani. All guests will receive a welcome shot upon entrance. Honorees can pick up their certificates at this portion of the night. The party will go on until 11 p.m. (but Flicks stays open til 2 a.m. for those who want to party the night away!).

Recovery Party

Tuesday, Feb. 25, 11 a.m. - The Loft

The Hillcrest Honors will be quite the celebration so if you're able, we encourage you to take the next day off! Join us at The Loft for $10 martinis, $5 mimosas and a relaxing afternoon at Hillcrest's most neighborly bar. Everyone 21+ is welcome. Drink specials available all day long.
